The Nut House Description:
Serving lunch only. This is primarily a retail store (pecans, pies, gifts) but also has a pleasant dining room with lots of paintings by local artists. Menu is cold sandwiches, soup, quiche, and salads, with pie for dessert. Restaurant is located on Ivy Lane, east of US Hwy 54/70 north of Alamogordo. Watch for the big blue signs. Turn east at Eagle Ranch Pistachios onto Griffin Road or at McGinn's Country Store onto Dog Ranch Road and circle around.
