Located on Alhambra's increasingly gentrified Main Street, the space is welcoming. Menu highlights include spaghetti with meatballs, spinach and cheese lasagna, and eggplant Parmigiana. Thin-crust pizzas come topped with traditional pepperoni, sausage and meatballs as well as untraditional items like jalapeños and ham. Strangely, Charlie's also offers incongruous selections like broasted chicken and barbecue pork spare ribs. For dessert, save room for a workmanlike tiramisu.
