Fresh, fried properly catfish served in daunting portions, along with such sides as oversize hush puppies and coleslaw, are what people come to savor. Tradition departs in Adam's own catfish salad, made with fried catfish and hard-cooked egg bound together with a touch of creamy tartar sauce. You can treat it like a dip with the buttery "Captain's crackers" included on the side, or simply eat it with a spoon. The restaurant is a no-frills kind of place when it comes to décor but the friendliness of the staff provides all the atmosphere necessary for a pleasant experience. The menu here is short and all about the catfish---no desserts and no alcohol.
