This successor of Cielito Lindo---originally located just two doors away before it closed forever---misses with the chicken mole, the classic Oaxacan dish that should star turkey with a chocolate-cinnamon-chile sauce. Here, it's all about chicken and the sauce clings to the meat like a bathrobe. But other dishes do appeal, including the restaurant's tasty chunky guacamole and freshly-made chips. The casual atmosphere and the raucous party-on patrons are what also make the trip worthwhile---this is people-watching at its best.
