Twenty-plus years ago, this legendary North End pizza shop decided to franchise. Alas, exporting nostalgia---and, more importantly, the perfect oven---has proven to be a tough task. The pizza doesn't even come close to replicating the Thacher Street flagship's pies. However, for mall shoppers, this branch has the Epcot-like advantage of offering a taste of Boston sans the city's hustle and hassle.
