New England Soup Factory Description:
Small eatery specializing in homemade soups. Several varieties are available each day, with some menu "standards" and some varying with the day or season. The restaurant also serves sandwiches and has some baked goods. There is limited seating, so many customers choose to take out. This is the original location, and another branch has opened on Needham St. in Newton.
The restaurant is located at the rear of the Brookline Place complex (facing Pearl St.). The pay parking lot and parking structure next to the restaurant is free for the first 15 minutes; validation offers discounts for longer periods.
