After a day of memorable golf, and a drink or two in the Tap Room, two-step it into Stillwater and relive each hole by daydreaming by the massive picture window. It's easy to do with one of the world's most stunning views starring back at you. You may even forget the menu entirely. Ah yes, the menu. It's seafood dished out American-style, and lunch is heavily rooted in clubhouse grub. An open-face lobster sandwich comes coated in mayo, satisfying after 18 holes; have it with the fried calamari. Ironically, a dessert baba may be one of the lightest offerings, the rum-soaked sponge cake airy and moist. Dinner entrées are a bit tonier, and include pan-seared Monterey Bay red abalone with a helping of lemon angel hair pasta, herb-poached Scottish salmon and grilled prawns with corn risotto.
