Brent's Deli Description:
Second branch of the Northridge family-run deli. Extensive menu specializing in sandwiches and burgers. In the same parking lot as the Hyatt.
Breakfast is served all day at this very satisfying family-owned deli with hand-sliced lox, smoked fish platters, pancakes, waffles and matzo brie. The corned beef hash with poached eggs is ridiculously large but nice nonetheless. Of course, most people pack the place for the huge sandwiches: rye bread piled high with pastrami, corned beef, brisket, tongue or even Braunsweiger. Top it with coleslaw and Russian dressing for the ultimate addicting experience. Grilled sandwiches get the most attention in the colder months, with the Reuben and Brisket Dip basking in glory. At dinner the corned beef and cabbage or the meatloaf vie for most comforting. Save room for the fresh cheesecake and lemon bars, or better yet, stop in just for dessert. There's a full fountain menu with ice cream sundaes and a chocolate egg cream. A separate bar area serves alcoholic beverages and its own menu without any interference from the kids.
