Valley Ranch Barbeque Description:
Good barbecue and very low prices have made this casual, rustic spot a San Fernando Valley favorite for over 30 years. Plates or sandwiches are heaped with plentiful portions of barbecue baby-back pork ribs, beef short ribs, beef tri-tip, sliced leg of lamb and sliced pork or ham, all slow-cooked over a brick pit. Combining meats is encouraged. Sides include coleslaw, potato salad and meat-flecked barbecue beans. For dessert, snag a slice of chocolate blackout cake.
