Boccali's Restaurant Description:
They don't accept credit cards at this casual mom-and-pop Italian, so bring the green stuff. You won't regret driving all the way out into the countryside to sit on picnic tables and eat pizza. The views are fantastic with Ojai's lush hills and majestic oaks. The pizza toppings run the gamut and include interesting options like sun-dried tomatoes, green chilies and roasted red peppers. Baked pasta dishes like lasagna, eggplant Parmesan and ravioli are covered in bubbling cheese, delivered piping hot to your table by friendly servers. Many dishes can be made with vegetarian sauce. Side dishes include sautéed veggies like zucchini, broccoli or mushrooms. Don't miss out on the freshly squeezed lemonade and orange juice made from local citrus. Beer, wine and Henry Weinhard's sodas are also available. The huge lawn is often booked for parties, but they don't interfere with regular restaurant operations.
