The chips and salsa here aren't free, but they are unusually crisp and worth the price, especially with the made-to-order, creamy guacamole. For appetizers, skip the way-too-cheesy fundido and try the calamari or the fresh Manila clams with spicy broth. Freshly made organic tortillas highlight six types of "street food"-style tacos. As for mains, the roasted chicken with Yucatan spices is a standout, as are the enchiladas, salmon Veracruz and the slow-braised carnitas. Looking for a late-night spot in Brea?
