Hunter Ranch Grille Description:
Golf course food rarely rises above meager sandwiches and hot dogs, but that's not the case with The Grille at Hunter Ranch. You can certainly get a hot dog for lunch, but also a Kobe burger, fish 'n' chips, ahi steak sandwich or a Waldorf salad. Anything with the maple-glazed, thick-cut "Kelly's bacon" is a good choice, such as the BLT, triple-stacked club, or the Da Vinci sandwich with grilled chicken, avocado and bacon. For breakfast, order up basics such as scones and bagels or heartier fare like huevos rancheros or prime rib and two eggs with potatoes. (Kid's menus are also available.) The kitchen is also ramping up the daily specials with offerings such as Korean pork tacos and a grilled shrimp avocado salad. The Sunday brunch is a generous buffet spread featuring everything from eggs to enchiladas. Sit inside or outside and enjoy sweeping views of the challenging golf course, surrounding vineyards and rolling hills. The Grille offers local wines, bottled beers, draft beers (including a seasonal brew), and complimentary WiFi.
