Vinoteca Wine Bar Description:
This cozy, brick-walled wine bar in downtown Paso Robles offers tastes, glasses, bottles and flights from several dozen wineries throughout the world, including a good selection of local labels. Though wine appropriately reigns supreme here, the list of tapas ranges from the de rigueur cheese and salumi plate to seasonal salads such as spinach with blue cheese and cranberries, to a winter mushroom flatbread to Cuban pork sliders on pillowy little Hawaiian rolls, And don't forget about the wine pairing possibilities with desserts like the vanilla bean cheesecake. Premium draught beers include the locally brewed Firestone Union Jack---try them on the Thursday Beer Flight night, just one of the many weekly events on the busy Vinoteca calendar. Winemaker Wednesday is when a featured winemaker stops in to pour selected wines at special prices. Several different seating areas are available---at the bar, settled into comfy couches, or with your private party in the Barrel Room in the back.
