Besides fast food staples like hot dogs, cheeseburgers, tuna melts and onion rings, options like the Streamliner (a grilled veggie patty) acknowledge more modern dietary concerns.
This chain features burgers, fries, toasted-cheese sandwiches and milkshakes in a retro white-on-white '50s diner with mini-jukeboxes on the counter, and a few tables inside and out. It's a good place to take the kids after their soccer game.
