Snug Harbor Description:
A World War II-era diner. Expect long lines on the Saturdays and Sundays, when weekend warriors limp in to for late breakfasts. Blackboard specials change daily and usually include one sandwich deal.
Snug Harbor is a tiny box of a diner with a secret: a charming back patio. For breakfast, there are thin honey-nut pancakes and enormous omelets. For lunch, try the satisfying chicken tostada salad, plus a convincing Philly cheesesteak, juicy burgers with yam fries and a spicy chicken sandwich on pesto sourdough. Service can be slow, but the waitresses are consistently sunny.
