Tucked into Arlington Square Shopping Centre, Alex's Bistro has been drawing diners for more than two decades. Chef Alex Gosetto creates seasonal menus here, so there is always something new to try. Of course, you won't be disappointed if you opt for favorites like lobster-dill salmon and garlic-rubbed New Zealand lamp chops either. Crêpes are a specialty, and they're served hot, bubbly and casserole-style, brimming with shrimp, salmon or chicken. The chef relies on hormone-free meats, free-range chicken and veal as well as organic produce. For dessert, Alex's is known for its crème brûlée, chocolate mousse and bananas Foster crêpes. Mirrored walls, dim lights, brass railings and light fixtures, paintings by French artists, and white tablecloths add to the Parisian feel.
