Boathouse on Naples Bay Description:
Here is a restaurant that truly takes advantage of its Naples Bay location. It offers not only an extensive menu, but also open air dining on the restaurant deck or inside, in the air conditioning, with a thousand feet of glass to look through out onto the water. Seafood dishes are plentiful. One popular appetizer is the seafood gumbo, cooked to order with shrimp, calamari, clams, conch and fresh fish, and served hot or mild. Main courses include seafood Norfolk---Gulf of Mexico shrimp, Maryland crab meat and sea scallops sautéed in a light Maryland white wine and butter sauce and served with vegetables du jour. There are numerous seafood-and-beef combos, including Brazilian rock lobster tail or seared tuna combined with a Delmonico steak or center-cut New York strip. There are also kabobs and a raw bar as well as a nice range of desserts.
