Ocean Grill Description:
Longtime chef Jacky Burette has taken the Ocean Grill, formerly the Amelia Inn Dining Room, gracefully into the twenty-first century. The small but elegant dining room is heavily peppered with athletic types of all ages fresh from one of four 18-hole championship golf courses or one of the clay tennis courts. And after burning all those calories, folks feel justified in tucking into elegantly presented dishes such as the luxurious coriander-crusted grilled swordfish with caramelized baby fennel, niçoise olive and potato hash, blood oranges and champagne vinaigrette, or a more rib-sticking but equally successful grilled Prime New York strip loin, potato and black truffle tart, jumbo asparagus and Cabernet demi-glace. The bread basket is anything but perfunctory, but do leave room for post-prandial knockouts like the Black Forest napoleon with brandied cherries and kirsch chantilly cream.
