Fiddler's Restaurant Description:
The dining scene in Steinhatchee is dominated, not surprisingly, by anglers engaged in marginally plausible big-fish stories. And nowhere does it get more lively (or the fish bigger) than at Fiddler's. A sprawling, just slightly ramshackle spot from the outside, the vast, wood-beamed interior is comfortable and bustling. It seems the whole of the local high school is employed in refilling waters, whisking away plates and hauling out generous platters of fried grouper fingers, shrimp or mullet. (The more refined might opt instead for the grilled grouper napped with a tangy lime-dill sauce.) You can also bring your own cleaned catch and have them cook it up.
