Cap's Place Description:
Not a board's been changed in this island beach shack since it was opened as a speakeasy and gambling casino in 1920. Later, historic visitors included Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill and John F. Kennedy. Cap's boat takes diners from the mainland to its own island in the Intracoastal Waterway. The menu features fresh local seafood, including pompano, dolphin, stone crabs and lobsters. There's a kid's menu, too.
