Carrabba's Italian Grill Description:
Unless you go very early or very late, you'll always stand in line for a table at Carrabba's, but it's worth the wait for well-prepared Italian specialties. The casual dining room is a favorite for families, sharing plates of pasta and hearty entrées like the pollo Rosa Maria, a fire-roasted chicken breast stuffed with Fontina cheese, prosciutto and topped with mushroom basil butter sauce. Sirloin and spiedino, a juicy steak paired with shrimp and scallops, is a lovely surf 'n' turf option. For a carb fix, try the linguine pescatore with mussels, shrimp and scallops in a spicy marinara sauce or lobster ravioli, a rich dish with creamy white-wine sauce. Wines are mostly Italian, and are $10 off on Wednesdays. For something sweet, try the warm limoncello bread pudding, topped with ice cream and drizzled with the tart Italian liqueur. The bacino---small, guilt-free versions of six desserts---are light ways to end a big meal. If the dining room is too crowded, call ahead and order Carside Carryout---pull in the specially designated parking, and someone will bring your order to the car.
