Ouisie's Table Description:
Like it's her personal home, proprietor-chef Elouise Adams Jones ("Ouisie") welcomes guests to her rustic, yet chic, New England-style digs on San Felipe. Her patio is the most beautiful perch in town and her garden room is decked out with banquettes for lounging in romantic Laura Ashley type fabrics. Don't miss the fried oysters, compliments of Ouisie's grandmother's recipe, or chicken-fried steak, the latter of which is only served on Tuesdays. On Saturdays, help yourself to some catheads (biscuits). For dinner, try the horseradish-crusted salmon; the Southwestern-style grilled chicken breast with asparagus, jack cheese and tortilla chips; or the opulent grilled beef tender with bacon and Roquefort. Ouisie's Spud, topped with caviar, as well as the traditional salad and sandwich offerings, have always made lunch such a treat.
