The former home of downtown Carmel's Carnegie Library, this historic landmark is lined with bookcases still filled with books. Now, however, it is known for serving contemporary dishes in a friendly setting. The rocking lower level bar could be the next Cheers with its bar food and frequent return of area residents. Upstairs, the menu suits everyone, offering pub favorites as well as cast-iron-skillet tuna with sautéed, balsamic-tinged vegetables and orzo fragrant with herbs.
