The Kill Devil Grill Description:
The Kill Devil Grill is housed in an authentic and historically recognized diner, giving patrons the option of settling in at the counter or heading back to a booth-lined addition that flanks an open kitchen. Lunch and dinner menus provide a nice range of salads, including the aptly named "Seazar," burgers, and sandwiches, like the Red Neck Cuban with pulled pork and sliced ham. For a light bite, check out the "snacks." A house specialty is the cheesesteak eggrolls, which require little further description. Dinner includes a variety of fresh fish "blue plate" specials, steaks, several pasta offerings and wood-roasted chicken served while it lasts. Reasonably priced desserts include a root beer float (it's a diner, after all), chocolate layer cake and strawberry shortcake. Located in the heart of the beach hotel district, you may find a short wait but with fast, efficient service, it's never long enough to detract from your meal.
