Lucy's Cafe El Adobe Description:
Paramount Studios employees treat this old classic as a cantina, as do other Angelenos who love Lucy’s for her good, cheap margaritas and evocative old-L.A. ambience, complete with dark booths and a tiled, lushly planted Spanish patio. Plus, it offers a bit of California history as the place ex-governor (now Oakland mayor) Jerry Brown courted Linda Ronstadt in semiseclusion, the owners being major boosters of Democratic party polls. As for what arrives on your plate, expect run-of-the-mill show with heaps of rice and beans, though the arroz con pollo is pretty good in a pinch.
