Pub of Penn Valley Description:
Every dish on the menu at Jeannine and David Hamilton's friendly neighborhood pub is less than $20. And that's the way they want it. The idea is to offer a selection that lets regulars stop by a few times during the week, whether it be for homemade soup, a sandwich and a beer, or a sophisticated entrée such as rack of lamb, a generous five-chop roast, fragrant with rosemary, with a side of veggies and mashed, Lyonnaise, roasted or whatever potatoes the chef creates for the day. Now that the dining room is nonsmoking during the dinner hour (6 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday), the Pub is more appealing.
