Boodles Description:
The motto of this eclectic place at 11 Mile Road and I-75 is "Where East Meets West," signifying Boodles is convenient to both Detroit's East and West sides. More importantly, the food is consistently good. Sandwiches, pastas (referred to as Boodles' Oodles of Noodles), pizza, steak, shrimp, sea scallops, burgers and the daily specials are all recommended. Boodles' menu doesn't fit the mold, though. Where else is escargot offered at lunch? Several dishes are prepared tableside with dramatic flair, including bananas Foster. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday a piano player draws enthusiastic applause from bar patrons and diners.
