Masters Restaurant Description:
The game of golf is immortalized here, in a building approximating the clubhouse at Augusta National Golf Club where the Masters tournament marks the start of spring every year. A mural of a vintage golf scene is the focal point of the main dining room, which features a balcony for more seating. The straightforward menu is conservative, with American steaks and chops, and broiled, sautéed and char-grilled fish. The prices are remarkably affordable, with most dinners no higher than $15.95, including trimmings. The very good bread is made in-house, as are soups and the twice-baked potatoes. In keeping with the golf theme, the woodsy setting is awash with golf lithographs, photographs and paintings. In deference to the tournament, the private dining room is called the Green Room. During Masters weekend, bartenders wear green jackets.
