Silver Diner Description:
This is an old-fashioned diner with a jukebox in each booth. Servings are generous and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff are friendly and courteous. Children are welcome and enjoyed. There is a smoking section and a non-smoking section.
Reminiscent of an earlier America, the Silver Diner offers individual juke boxes, fifties music, and down-home cooking at very affordable prices. So it is no surprise that everyone from students to grandparents love this place. No matter at what hour you stop in, booths and counter stools are filled, but the turnover is quick, and you can always order take-out. We always return for the chocolate cream pie and the classic meatloaf meal, but the menu is extensive, and you’ll find plenty to please. The management has also modernized the menu, so you’ll find light fare and plenty of salads. Breakfast service starts at the crack of dawn and lasts all day. The menus are the same at each location.
