CC's Gourmet Coffee House Description:
Veterans Boulevard is the main thoroughfare in the suburb of Metairie, and CC's is a high-demand stop for caffeine. The half dozen or so places sporting the CC's sign brew a fine cup of coffee, even if they don't break the chain coffee shop mold. Located on a busy commercial strip, this CC's offers drive-through service for the harried commuter, and closes at 9 p.m. As at the other CC's locations, you'll find a good selection of coffees and a gaggle of satisfying pastries and rolls. Bagels are better than you'd expect in these parts, and the brownies are class-A. Long before it got into the café game, CC's was roasting and selling coffee. A quick visit to any area grocery store will confirm that it's still the locals' choice for a jolt of java.
