Fury's Description:
Fury's would be a typical old neighborhood-style restaurant---if it had a neighborhood. Instead, it is almost hidden in the shadow of a suburban shopping mall. Inside, one finds a pair of dining rooms filled with regulars and a menu listing the same unremarkable fixtures found in dozens of other casual seafood eateries scattered in and around New Orleans. Undaunted by the nonchalant attitude of the service staff, fans make the half-hour's drive from New Orleans for an Italian seafood menu that never changes. Stars are a fried trout amandine that more expensive restaurants could copy; a broiled, seafood-stuffed flounder that is no embarrassment; and a sinfully good mound of fried onion rings. The rest is a roll of the dice.
