Cozy is an understatement when describing this petite, brick-walled seafood hotspot that is so crammed with devotees most nights that the waiters can barely squeeze through to reach the tightly packed tables. The copper-topped bar takes up half the space, which fills with casually dressed young professionals who meet here to mingle; often, they spill out toward the fashionable suburban downtown area while awaiting a table. Beneath ceilings hung with huge fish sculptures, diners partake in lobster bisque or fish chowder, a signature house salad, fresh seafood specials like pan-roasted salmon or grilled tuna, and the best Key lime pie in the city. During lunchtime, patrons often sit at the bar and nosh on fresh oysters, coconut shrimp with an apricot-horseradish sauce and crab cakes.
