Piedmontese beef is the specialty at this urban steakhouse in an out-of-the-way setting where the suburbs of Livonia and Plymouth intersect. The plush interior and well-dressed staff is a surprise as are the linen-lavished tables, fresh flowers, dramatic paintings and upscale menu even at lunch. The low-fat, naturally-raised beef, offered in 6-, 8-, 10-, 12- and 16-ounce cuts of filet mignon, porterhouse and medallions of tenderloin, as well as in a New York strip and a bone-in rib-eye, stars. A number of Italian specialties make for a great supporting cast. The accompanying wine list is notable. The piano bar---presided over by a portrait of Frank Sinatra---is a popular spot on Tuesday through Saturday evenings.
