Andiamo Osteria Description:
This Andiamo restaurant is an informal version of the more upscale flagship locations in Warren and Bloomfield Hills. It also serves many of chef Aldo Ottaviani's pastas and veal dishes but does so in a more casual and down-to-earth fashion. Caesar salads are especially appealing, as are batter-fried, baby squid served with light tomato sauce. Another safe bet? The house minestrone. Thin-crusted pizzas are a fine choice when topped with roasted peppers, capers, basil and chicken or ham, artichokes and black olives, and the chicken breast sautéed with eggplant or with garlic, sage and white wine is quite good, too. Friendly servers and unpretentious trappings add to the warm neighborhood feeling.
