The long-awaited sister to the El Meson restaurants, Conga is filled with congas---the festive drums are hanging on the walls, they're used as table bases, the lights over the bar are shaped as such, and they are definitely being used on the dance floor. The cocktails here are as sassy and bright as the décor. The food is far-reaching Pan-Latino; best bets include the empanadas (little pastries filled with chicken, beef or melted cheese) and if you are really hungry the churrasco Argentino is a gorgeous beef tenderloin accompanied by the zesty Argentine condiment chimichurri. The wine list stays on theme featuring wines from places like Chile, Spain and Argentina.
