CC's Community Coffee House Description:
The half dozen or so places sporting the CC's sign brew a fine cup of coffee, even if they don't break the chain coffee shop mold. Located in a kiosk within the Whitney Bank Bldg., this CC's is popular with area office workers, but closes at 5 p.m. and has no weekend hours. As at the other CC's locations, you'll find a good selection of coffees and a gaggle of satisfying pastries and rolls. Bagels are better than you'd expect in these parts, and the brownies are class-A. Long before it got into the café game, CC's was roasting and selling coffee. A quick visit to any local grocery store will confirm that it's still the locals' choice for a jolt of java.
