Luigi's is an old-time Italian deli in the spirit of Central Grocery and the now defunct Progress Grocery, and its specialty is the same: the muffaletta.
Luigi's also offers soup (made daily, from scratch) and classic Italian-American fare such as lasagna, as well as Italian and Mediterranean delicacies including anchovies, oils, dried figs, and pasta, a modest selection of wine, Italian deli meats, and bottled beverages.
