The Dive Bar Description:
If there ever was a perfect misnomer, it's Dive Bar. Located on the Upper West Side, this casual eatery and haven for brew enthusiasts is actually a scuba diving themed venue, catering to the neighborhood folks who appreciate a casual spot to gnaw on big-portioned comfort cuisine while imbibing imported brews. The Ultimate Seinfeld Sandwich is comprised of tomatoes and mayonnaise with mozzarella, basil and butter on a choice of breads. The catfish tacos, while marred by excessive saltiness, are an acceptable substitute for real Mexican fish tacos. The menu, crammed with sandwiches and other hearty dishes, also includes poutine, burgers, all-day breakfast plates, and mac 'n' cheese. Best of all, two-dozen beers on tap---including a few hard-to-find brews---make the food go down that much easier.
