This TriBeCa hangout is popular among neighborhood residents who embrace its casual atmosphere and healthy fare. If you're lucky, you might bump into a celebrity. Otherwise, you'll have to make do with grazing instead of stargazing. Not that it's such an unpleasant option, provided you're in the mood for some simple, filling fare. The dense buttermilk biscuits, hearty soups, barbecue and fried chicken will satisfy even the hungriest TriBeCa bigwig. Just be ready to bide your time during the weekend brunch rush---they don't take reservations then.
