E.A.T. Description:
The quality of the food at Eli Zabar's Upper East Side café is excellent, making it a longtime favorite of the neighborhood's vibrant ladies who lunch crowd. E.A.T.'s excellent breads and baked goods are sold throughout the city, but one of the best selections is here---you can order an assorted basket for the table or buy a loaf at the take-out counter on your way out. The prepared sandwiches are made on E.A.T.'s crusty baguettes or dense rye bread, and there are usually at least 30 salads and antipasti from which to choose.
