What was once a taxi garage is now an organic restaurant retreat with seven areas for dining and lounging, not to mention a 3,000-square-foot garden and an upstairs penthouse. Worldly décor, fireplaces, redwood benches, a fish tank and a tropical tree in the main dining room are among the elements that add a modern rustic Zen vibe to this restaurant. Start with the steamed artichoke with lemon butter and then dig into the paella Valenciana, overflowing with shrimp, mussels, chorizo, chicken and calamari. Indulge in rosemary mashed potatoes or french fries on the side.
