Luca's Ristorante & Pizza Description:
Don't bypass this cute little Italian restaurant because it looks like a pizzeria. True, it does serve pizza, but that and so much more. The interior is a bit whimsical, decorated with hanging vines and clusters of plastic grapes, but isn't that so much better than the usual Formica tables and cheerless walls? The bill of fare is solid Italian and Italian-American favorites offered at affordable prices. The owners are brothers who hail from the isle of Ischia, just off the coast from Naples, which explains why many of the menu items such as gnocchi and focaccia are lovingly made by hand. The menu offers all the usual suspects but among them find some engaging and creative dishes such as lobster cannelloni in a pink brandy sauce, and artichokes, mushrooms, capers and sun-dried tomatoes ladled over roasted potatoes. Service is informal and friendly.
