Umi offers Japanese fine dining in a casually elegant dining atmosphere. The restaurant features a full range of sushi plus full lunch and dinner entrees with soups, salads and appetizers. Specialties include spicy crab salad, noodle dishes, chicken, shrimp, beef teriyaki, filet mignon, tempura, and miso salmon, all cooked with Chef David Zheng's signature Japanese flair. Beer, wine and mixed drinks are also available. With friendly service, easy access and a pleasing upscale decor, Umi has quickly become a favorite dining option in downtown Hendersonville. Parking is provided on site with extra parking available on the street. Seating is provided both inside and outside on the private patio. Dinner reservations are recommended.
