Cherry Blossom Japanese Restaurant Description:
A menu brimming with a wide selection of Japanese fare---from sushi and yakitori to donburi and noodle dishes---is offered in this serene spot marked by a Japanese garden at the entrance. Seating is available in tatami rooms or at Western-style tables. Shigeru Yamada and his partners have years of experience, and it shows in this handsome honey-and-plum-colored space with minimalist Japanese lines---not to mention in the extensive selection of well-prepared dishes. Four menus are presented at dinner: a list of nightly specials, yakitori (an array of meat, chicken and vegetables threaded on skewers and cooked on a special grill), a selection of sushi and sashimi and, finally, the printed bill of fare listing the many remaining dishes. Café Sushi in Troy is a sister establishment.
