Funky Monkey Wine Company Description:
Forget the silly name and do your best to overlook the location in touristy Pointe Orlando. The well-rounded menu is eclectic, and designer sushi rolls are a favorite, as are starters such as fried goat cheese and truffle-salted fries. Entrées like the bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin with soy and ginger glaze and buttery mashed potatoes, and the panko-crusted yellowtail snapper with white wine, tomato, garlic, wild mushrooms and ginger are the real stars. Chef-owner-sommelier Eddie Nickell put together a thoughtful wine list that nicely matches the food.
