Liberatore's Bistro Description:
A trimmed-down menu sports lower prices than the other restaurants owned by the same family. But you still get a heaping serving of ambience free with every order. Murals and an overhead grape arbor evoke a Tuscan-countryside-seen-from-the-villa theme, while the Liberatore brothers' signature paintings of cavorting cherubs add an ethereal touch. The food is good, sturdy Italian fare in the basic line-up of pasta, chicken, seafood, veal and beef, making this an any-day-for-no-reason kind of eatery. The veal---with lump crab meat, say, or simply Marsala---is a good deal, and the pasta, from simplest spaghetti with tomato sauce to a more inventive spicy vodka penne with blackened chicken, are sure to satisfy.
