Caffe Casta Diva Description:
This 20-plus-seat Italian BYOB oozes simplicity, from its minimal townhouse décor to its good, unpretentious food. As a bonus, a soundtrack of operatic selections adds to the mood. The menu borrows inspiration from operas, too---pasta alla Puccini, insalata Verdi, vitello alla Scala---all are well made and bursting with freshness. We also recommend the veal chop with Marsala-scented porcinis and the tiramisu. Even better, the chef and staff couldn't be friendlier. The quarters are tight, so it's not the best choice for an intimate evening.
