Blending the tastes of Tuscany and the South of France with those of the South Bay, chef-owner Guy Gabriele's "Cuisine of the Sun" includes specialties like mussels with white wine, shallots and cream; roasted duck with wild mushroom risotto and Pinot Noir sauce; and center cut filet mignon with Gorgonzola-Merlot sauce and pommes frites. Intriguing desserts may include vanilla brioche bread pudding with caramel sauce and chocolate mousse on an espresso-meringue wafer topped with dark, creamy chocolate.
