Buz and Ned's Real Barbecue Description:
What's the buzz? You'll have to search hard for Buz & Ned's, but don't give up. There's a giant billboard dwarfing it, but one step inside and that sensual smokehouse aroma will tell you most definitively that you're in the right spot. Some of Richmond's best barbecue is served at this diminutive eatery, squeezed in next to a gas station and a factory-like building. Ideal for on-the-go eating, this place also offers wooden booths and high tables as well as curbside picnic tables beneath a white tent for anyone too hungry to put off the first bite of hickory-smoked meats. The pulled pork sandwich is a classic example of honest barbecue flavor and texture, but the ribs may be the real champ here. Sides include the standard potato salad, slaw, baked beans and country-style greens. Desserts are made on the premises, and if you are clever, you'll save room for the pecan pie square. If you're not buzzin' by then, consider one of Buz's beers, single barrel bourbons or sipping tequilas.
