If you asked me before I got the bill to the Cellar if I thought it was good, I would have told you it was great. It was when our group of 15 people got the bill that the customer service went out the window. We had spent a lot of money and there was $300 worth of gift certificates that we were going to use. However, the Cellar would not accept them. They gave no reason except that because we were in a Group. We tried calling the manager and then the owner. The owner would not talk to us or provide a valid reason. There was no indication on the gift certificates that they could not be used in a group. It's been almost a week and we have not yet talked to anyone. They are ignoring the customers. I can understand if there is a reason but coming from a business person I can't see any valid business reason for refusal. The customer service is horrible and its frankly an embarassment.
Do not buy gift certificates here.

The Cellar has always served up some great seafood and steak dishes. My wife and I usually head there when we have a chance, which is rare, because we know that we're going to get a great meal. The service is always excellent and the ambience is very conducive to good conversation. I've tried almost everything but usually end up with the New York Strip & Scallops and my wife's favorite is the Grilled Salmon Filet. If you're looking for something romantic give The Cellar a shot!
